In Langston Hughess  poesy Dream Deferred or Harlem, Hughes tells us of what  go bys to dreams when they  be  flummox on hold.  Hughes deliberately meant for the poem to  tension on the dreams of Afri washstand-Americans in particular because he originally entitle the poem Harlem.
